The Great Wave - Adena Shoulder Bag - AS-IS

This bag is a prototype from the pattern testing phase. While completely usable, it represents an earlier iteration before final refinements were implemented. You may notice variations from the current production version, including potential differences in strap length, interior fabric choices that affect structure, and lining fit. These variations are a natural part of the design development process and don't impact the bag's functionality—just its minor specifications.

Specific disclaimer for this bag: This bag's strapper keeper (the metal thing that holds the strap close to the bag), is quite a tight fit. Unfortunately, I didn't know that until it was installed and it was too late to remove. This makes it a little difficult (though not impossible) to feed the excess strap through it. It has also created a small indent in the strap where the bar has sat on it over time. Because this fabric is so very precious to me, I really didn't want to cut it up. Hopefully someone can love it despite its flaws. <3

Features:

• The shoulder strap on this bag adjusts to accommodate drop lengths between 8.5" - 10.5". Please note that this strap length is not suitable for all body types. It is better for smaller frames.
• Unique ergonomic magnetic snap closure.
• Interior zipper pocket that is combined with a vertical phone slip pocket.
• A wide base that provides generous storage capacity. The overall size is closer to a large than a medium, offering lots of room for daily essentials and more.
• Made with a combination of materials and textures:
  • An extremely limited and precious canvas I purchased during my time living in Japan. I get asked ALL the time about where this material was from as it really is the perfect scale and repeat of this print. Truly such a great material.
  • It is paired with my favorite smooth cream vinyl and a brown of the same vinyl type.
  • The lining is made with one of my other favorite materials - a gorgeous essex linen. It's so nice and soft, yet also durable. 
• Coordinating nickel hardware and tags are thoughtfully accented throughout the bag.
