A Wizard's Embellishment - Adena Shoulder Bag

On each cream accent strip of this bag, you'll find intricate white embellishments. This is inspired by Gandalf's cloak trim when he becomes Gandalf the White. I found a free embroidery file from a blog from back in 2005 or so, gave it a bit of an upgrade, then cut it with my Cricut. Each embellishment was then painstakingly sewn on over the course of about 5 hours. It's such a subtle deep cut, but I adore it!

Please Note: Due to the nature of the woven material and the purposes it was made for, it is quite strong and long lasting, but of course it is still a woven material. Please be nice to it and it will last a good long while for you! When I use this type of material in my creations, I take many precautions to make sure it is secure and reinforced, but please be sure to keep it away from things such as hook-and-loop tape, dark denim jeans, and anything that it will rub up against over time that is abrasive (such as a brick wall). I have had a travel bag that I throw under the seat while flying that I've been using for a couple years now, and the material has lasted longer than the vinyl I paired it with - but that doesn't mean it is impervious.
